Due to the worldwide Coronavirus strain Covid-19
pandemic and the advice of social distancing, social isolation etc, I am now offering video calls to clients. Whether you need advice on how to keep your dog happy and content should you have to stay
at home or if you need a consultation regarding behavioural issues.
This is where perhaps I am different to many other trainers / behaviourists / consultants as I train the owner(s) not the dog. I learnt many
years ago that if we change our ways, the dog instinctively changes too. By changing our mindset it doesn’t just help our dog, it helps us in all areas of our life, to be better parents, partners, in
our work life etc. It allows us to see life in a more natural, positive way.
30 minute video call £50
3 hour consultation video call £250
Consultation -- £400
The consultation begins with a discussion with the family members to establish what has been going on, preferably with the dog in another room. Reason being so you can
relax and be honest during the conversation. With the dog in the same room often the owners focus and emotional state is on the dog, not our conversation. Once I have listened to what you have
to say I will meet and assess your dog. Then we can get to work fixing whatever issues there may be. The consultation lasts generally between 2 and 4 hours.
Follow up visits - £75 per hour (at least one is recommended)

Talks / Seminars on various topics
Theory / Knowledge
5 1/2 years of intense study,
research and theory was completed in canine behaviour / body language / pack dynamics and the various training methods prior to interacting with dogs. This included studies into wild wolves, captive
wolves, Indian and African wild dogs, feral dogs, domestic dogs and their various breed traits. I have also attended various seminars on dog behaviour / body language and completed theory courses
After completing 5 years plus
on the theory of dog behaviour and body language I began what was to become 7 years volunteering at various dog rescue centres. This gave me the opportunity of working with a huge variety of
breeds and states of mind including many severe cases from extreme nervousness, fear, complete lack of socialisation to extreme excitement. For over six years I was fortunate to have worked with some
of the rescue centres most difficult dogs including many that were deemed aggressive and even dangerous.
A variety of hands on practical
courses were attended including Obedience Training, Lead Control, Mental Stimulation, Breed Traits, Kennel & Home Enrichment, Difficult Dogs, Body Language, Clicker and Motivation
Several days were spent walking
with and studying captive wolves at the Wolf Trust.
I have organised and held well
over one hundred pack walks of which the majority of attendees were owners of dogs that were dog and/or human
In total I now have over 10
years hands on experience working with many different breeds and states of minds.
